Human Resources Administrative Assistant
Responsibilities include assisting in the administration of multiple benefit plans, i.e., medical, dental, supplemental disability, 401K, etc., including educating and enrolling associates in these plans. Also compiles and processes payroll data. Maintains all personnel records, reports, computations and audits, Interfaces routinely between Human Resources and associates on benefits issues (deductions, COBRA, etc.) to ensure timely and accurate processing. Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; organizational and planning skills, including ability to: prioritize work, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set goals and enforce deadlines, while maintaining flexibility to reassess and prioritize goals; ability to take initiative; analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills; ability to maintain accurate and detailed records; computer literacy.
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and record investigation.
Minimum 2 years of HR experience; Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel; HRIS skills with ADP preferred. Experience in a Warehouse or Distribution Center is a plus.
