Chapin, S.C. – Ellett Brothers was honored to receive the 2010 Citizenship Award from the 19th Annual Shooting Industry Academy of Excellence Awards ceremony on July 23rd in Grand Island, Nebraska.

The 4-time National Distributor of the Year honoree nabbed the Citizenship Award for cultivating strong community bonds and support for those in need, including local charities such as the Adopt-A-Family Program and the We Care Food Pantry. Ellett Brothers has donated Christmas gifts to the children of The Boys Farm Inc. and Thornwell Home for Children in neighboring communities. In addition, the company rose over $150,000 in five years to assist the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.

THE SHOOTING INDUSTRY ACADEMY OF EXCELLENCE HONORS HEWITT GRANT
Chapin, S.C. – Ellett Brothers President/CEO Hewitt Grant earned the honor of receiving the Shooting Industry Award at the 19th Annual Shooting Industry Academy of Excellence Awards ceremony on July 23rd in Grand Island, Nebraska.

For more than 40 years, Hewitt Grant has been dedicated to the Shooting Sports Industry as an advocate for gun rights. Hewitt has supported the education of legislators on the importance of concealed carry laws through the Congressional Sportsman's Caucus. His continued involvement with the NRA, The Youth Shooting Sports Alliance, and service as vice-chairman of the National Association of Sporting Good Wholesalers is highly praised.

Hewitt's contributions towards establishing Ellett Brothers as the leading distributor of shooting, hunting, archery, and marine accessories has raised the bar and his dedication to the Shooting Industry has positively raised eyebrows. "Hewitt has spent over 40 years of his life trying to make our industry better," said Chuck Walker, Ellett Brothers Senior VP of National Sales and Marketing. "I am proud to be part of his team and congratulate him on this well-deserved award," Chuck adds.

Rosenlieb joins the Ellett Brothers Family after 20 years of service with the National Wild Turkey Federation as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Over the past two years, Rosenlieb has been notably involved with hunter advocacy and wildlife conservation through Safari Club International with its 190 chapters contributing time, talent, and financial support to local, national, and international conservation projects.
